We try to keep busy. Our latest effort is http://www.roomswithgreatviews.com. It’s off to a great start, but I have to tell you, that monitoring all of these great travel photos really makes me want to go somewhere. Ah… time and money.

Probably so. This isn’t our only site. Look in the right sidebar for our other websites. Not all of them are blogs, and some will only be short informational blogs. This site will probably have the longest blogs (ironically, the easiest to write). We heard you were due to be back. Look forward to seeing you. Bill

Thanks for the kind words. We have 3 rain barrel posts coming up, about mid October. We publish every Monday and Friday morning. Sherry says that my “cheap date” is to take her to Borders or Barnes and Nobles, buy a coffee and sit and read for two hours. We take a notepad and write down websites, recipes, whatever interests us. It’s a good way to read about gardening. The link above (Garden Resources) has a couple of things you might be interested in, including Cold Climate gardening (under Blogs on the Resources page). You’ll need to know your planting “zone”. After that, just use your search engine to hunt for things. The more specific you are, the more detail you’ll get. Try “gardening blogs” for some interesting sites. Good luck on getting started. Keep us informed.

I loved the blog/site! I am interested in rainbarrels so any imput you have is apprecaited, since we live on a well… I also want to slowly add onto our flower garden her in the north.. but I don’t know a weed from a plant, and it doesn’t matter because I seem to kill it all.. What/Where do you suggest that I read about gardening… planting.?? Some of the books that I looked at, I didn’t buy because they were 90% advertisement and 10% about gardens. I want to plant things that come back every year and I want to have different thing blooming thoughtout the year.
