We hope that you have found this site useful, and believe – as we do – that there’s a need for a conversation about gardening in the city. This is a labor of love, and we have very few “products” to sell, but it does cost time and money to run a website. So here’s how you can help:

Advertise on our site

Your ad can be placed in either of the sidebars, at the end of an individual posting or above the footing. Text, image or banner links are accepted, with some restrictions. Rates depend on the number of pages, type and size of ad, and the length of time your ad runs. For more information, we can send you a rate sheet, or just let us know which pages you are interested in, the type of ad you want to place, and the html code for the ad you want to place, and we will send you a quote. Is there a gardening related website that you think is great? Or maybe you have a favorite garden in your favorite city that you would like to see on our travel page. First of all, tell your friends (send them a link). Then tell your relatives. Next, when you’re reading a blog or you’re on a forum and it seems appropriate to mention this really useful website that you’ve found — go ahead. Are you in a garden club? There you go – tell the group the next time you meet.  Put a note on the bulletin board at your local garden shop. The possibilities are endless. And we would really appreciate any publicity. A website lives or dies by its search engine rankings. And search engine rankings are led by people visiting our site. Thanks for your help.

Travel Over 60 Did you know that some car rental agencies won’t rent to people over a certain age?  Many cruise ship “excursions” have cut offs as well.  But there are BIG discounts to be had for people over 60, so it’s not all bad news.  Come explore the trials and JOYS of traveling over 60.  Don’t even think about slowing down.
